Anita Amirrezvani's introduction novel, The Blood of Flowers, shares the tale of a youthful woman in seventeenth century Iran with a real love for knotting rugs. Her world is cast into upheaval after her papa passes away, and the girl and her mother need to rely on the compassion of rich relations and everyone's desire that this young girl captures a prosperous husband. The Blood of Flowers is brilliantly written which creates a touching tale, certain to captivate readers.
